Brad joined RiskSpan in 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and capital markets, including 16 years leading a large mortgage-backed securitization issuer. He has a highly developed advisory, collaboration, and consultation background. In addition, Brad has expansive knowledge of government, agency, non-agency, jumbo, alt-A, subprime and reverse mortgage concepts, operations, underwriting, servicing, and secondary markets.
Prior to RiskSpan, Brad worked as a Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in securitization and product development, product management, structured finance transaction management, and modeling. He also served as an advisor to Wells Fargo Bank Corporate Trust Services. As a senior leader, Brad led and derived the Securitization Program guidelines and the conceptual approach for WFHM’s re-entry into the mortgage-backed securities market and assessed available securitization technology, processes, and financial engineering for adequacy to ensure regulatory and SEC compliance.
He has experience with a wide variety of capital markets assets in consumer lending, including autos, home equity lines and loans, and student loans. Brad is an expert in securitization matters and has managed cross-enterprise, cross-geography engagements and relationships collaborating with enterprise stakeholders including credit, sales, legal, compliance, trading, and technology. He has presented and marketed a non-agency mortgage product suite and structured finance products to investors, rating agencies, and broker/dealers. In addition, he has served in an advisory role in the derivation of GSE’s Credit Risk Sharing Securitization Program.
