Patricia Phillips

Patricia Phillips joined RiskSpan in 2005 and is responsible for business development and engagement management.  Patricia is a management consultant with 25 years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, and operations, including mortgage servicing. Clients are typically banks and financial services companies.  She also is a Verification Agent for commercial bank servicing advance facilities. She has worked for a GSE, a conglomerate, and various public companies. She has been an oversight and voting member of Investment Committee for an RMBS portfolio and a member of a GSE pricing taskforce.  Prior to the GSE, she was with Deloitte & Touche, where she managed the student loan practice.  Patricia received dual BAs in Economics and English from Boston College and an MBA from Georgetown University.  She is a volunteer board member for non-profits and is actively involved in programs to benefit unserved communities.

Jared Elder

I help B2B SaaS startups attack markets. A proven track record of generating the demand startups need to grow and scale their business. A marketing and sales development leader who creates lead generation machines by better aligning SDRs with marketing programs that drive pipeline and sales.

Joseph Makepeace

Joe Makepeace is a senior analyst with experience in business intelligence, portfolio forecasting, model validation, requirements gathering and project management.

Before coming to RiskSpan, he was an associate at Modus21, a consulting firm based in Charleston, SC, where he focused on business requirements gathering, data analysis and validation and Business Intelligence solutions.

He holds a BS in Finance from the University of South Carolina and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level II Candidate.

Joshua Falter

Joshua Falter joined RiskSpan as a Data Analyst in 2017. During his college years, he co-founded a Social Media Machine Learning startup.

Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the College of Charleston

Sean Cahill

Sean is a Data Analyst at RiskSpan. Prior to joining RiskSpan, Sean Cahill worked as Systems Developer for the Risk Engineering and System Analytics Center at Clemson University where he extracted information from unstructured datasets using machine-learning APIs. During his college years, he worked for American International Group (AIG) as a Data Analyst Intern building analytic frameworks and dashboards in R, VBA, and Tableau.

Sean holds a BS in Economics from Clemson University.

Senthil Murugan Govindarajan

Senthil Govindarajan has more than twelve years of software development, support and maintenance that includes requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding and implementation, using .Net centric tools and technologies. He has experience in various roles as Software Engineer, Module Leader, Member and Team Leader. Presently, Senthil is working as Director, at RiskSpan. Senthil has a sound knowledge in practice methodologies and full SDLC cycle, is a quick learner, and can adapt to any new technologies with ease and solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

He holds a BEng in Computer Science and Engineering, with distinction from Bharathiar University.

Chi Ouyang

Chi Ouyang has over 10 years of experience in financial services. He is a skilled team financial modeler having worked for a variety of business environments such as investment banking, asset management, consulting, investing and accounting. Chi’s expertise includes budgeting/revenue forecasting, reverse-engineering, pricing/valuation, debt structuring, model validation, documentation and methodology support. He has a strong grasp of modeling tools such as Excel/VBA, Intex,Trepp, and Bloomberg; Portfolio Management and Reporting such as internal/external reporting, buy/sell/hold recommendations, organized asset auction and legal document amendment; Asset Types: CMBS and loan credit-based modeling. Chi has knowledge of cash flow modeling on agency and subprime RMBS as well as numerous asset backed structures.

Chi holds a M.S in Finance and a B.A. in Math.

Hassan Chaudri

Hassan Chaudri has more than 6 years of experience in financial services and telecom. Prior to joining RiskSpan he was an automation engineer for Concord Insurance where is designed and executed cases and tracked and reported bugs as part of his core responsibilities. Prior to being an automation engineer, he was a software tester at Devon Bank. 

Hassan holds an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and an MS in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab. He also is a Certified Software Tester (CSTE).

Jason Huang

Jason Huang is an Analyst with experience in credit modeling, business operations, and data analysis. He has experience in model development, process improvements, and model validation. Jason is currently working on efforts to engineer enhancements to large financial institution’s credit analytics application. In addition, he works to deliver on reporting efforts and data gaps for clients using a variety of tools such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, and Unix.

He holds a BA in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Jennifer McKenney

Jennifer McKenney has more than 15 years of experience, is very detail oriented, self-motivated and highly organized. Has excellent communication skills and project management skills. Jennifer’s experience within the mortgage industry includes cash flow analysis for both residential and commercial assets, process improvement, software development requirements and financial model validation.

Jennifer holds a BBA from George Washington University.

Jiaping Chen

Jiaping Chen has over six years of professional experience and strong academic training in economic modeling, financial analysis and computer programming. She holds an MS in Finance from Drexel University and a BA in Economics from Huazhong Normal University.

Ken Zhang

Kuoping Zhang has solid quantitative modeling and analytical skills. He holds an MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
