David Andrukonis

David Andrukonis has technical and managerial experience in banking, credit risk, and valuation. David leads the development of specialized credit risk models such as structural credit risk models for shipping finance. He performs non-traditional ABS valuations and has validated a wide range of financial forecasting models, including models that estimate return on equity, asset/liability valuations under varying market interest rate scenarios, and loan losses.

Prior to joining RiskSpan, he managed the credit risk department at WashingtonFirst Bank, where he developed underwriting methodologies and stress tolerance models for diverse private firms and commercial real estate. The peer-reviewed RMA Journal has published three of his technical papers, “Pitfalls in Conventional Earnings-Based DSCR Measures—And a Recommended Alternative” in May 2013; “For Accurate Capital Forecasts, Granularity is Key” in October 2015 and “Valuing Non-Maturity Deposits” in March 2016.

Before WashingtonFirst Bank, David co-founded and served as CEO for a university fundraising software startup, AlumniFidelity, which was acquired by Overture Technologies.

He holds a Business Minor and BA in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill and is a CFA charterholder.

Tejus Das

Tejus leads the Delivery and Implementation of Technology driven Consulting solutions for RiskSpan’s Clients. He also actively manages the product development of RiskSpan’s Proprietary Solutions for Model Governance, Risk Reporting and Web-based Analytics solutions.

Tejus has over 12 years of experience in Architecting and Developing Enterprise systems using a wide array of open-source frameworks. He has built Multi-Tier Architecture based Applications using Java and JavaScript technologies, leveraging Cloud based and Dedicated Infrastructure. At RiskSpan, Tejus has been building solutions in the Multi-Family and Commercial Real estate space for Clients and has delivered turn-key features sets for the RiskSpan Velocity and RS Edge Platforms, focused on Distributed Data and Processing Architectures. Tejus is also currently building the teams for Technology delivery functions out of RiskSpan’s offices in Vienna and Charleston.

Before joining RiskSpan, Tejus was engaged in Technology leadership roles in the Insurance and Retail verticals. He started his career with Keane and has since been engaged with Staples, Telstra and J.B. Hunt in consulting capacities.  He has experience managing on-shore and off-shore teams with a consistent SLA track record managing production support teams as well.

Tejus holds an Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Madras.
